The goal and mission of the University of Szeged Interdisciplinary Centre for Research Development and Innovation Excellence (IKIKK) Biobank is to provide the highest biobanking services to its clients in full compliance with the required professional protocols and to earn their long-term trust. To maintain this, Biobank's management is committed to the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of the management system, meeting customer and legal requirements to the best of its ability. To meet these, Biobank ensures the conditions for its operations based on the requirements set out in ISO20387:2018, ISBER, MSZ EN ISO 15189:2013, and keeps abreast of the development of relevant standards.

In our operations, our main guidelines are:

- Considering international and domestic trends, we apply state-of-the-art technology and methods in our biobanking activities.

- In our operations, we strive to ensure that the quality and professionalism of the work carried out is of the highest possible standard and thus best serves the needs of our clients

- We develop our biobanking activities taking into account environmental and market impacts, ensuring stable and balanced management

- We strive to improve the quality and professionalism of our work continuously.

- The biobank's activities are impartial, independent of producers and distributors, and aim to achieve customer satisfaction.

- We are constantly working under ISO 20387:2018, ISBER, MSZ EN ISO 15189:2013 standards and meet the expectations of our customers

- Biobank expects all its subcontractors and suppliers to identify with its quality objectives and to fully consider and comply with the requirements of its quality management system in their cooperation.
