SPARTACUS CANCER FOUNDATION

One of the key elements of our modern biobanking infrastructure is the state-of-the-art robotic semi-automated sample storage facility Liconic, donated to the university by the Spartacus Cancer Foundation for more than HUF 3 billion in 2020. In addition to the donation, one of the foundation's founders, Prof. Dr. György Markó-Varga (Lund, Sweden), has also initiated several international collaborations with our university, in which our biobank is also involved.
