Expedia Group is currently looking for a motivated individual with an obsession for customer satisfaction to join our Market Operations contact center team as a Lodging Partner Associate.


In this position, you will focus on providing inbound and outbound support to our hotel and property partners, helping them to attract travelers. You will be versatile in handling multiple software programs, prompt and accurate in your responses to email and phone communications and provide a simple, rapid, competent support

experience. Alongside displaying dedication and compassion when dealing with partners and travelers, you will also work closely with other departments to ensure the best resolution, first time.


What you will do:

  • Promote excellent partner relations by providing accurate responses with a positive attitude and service behavior
  • Respond to inquiries or requests regarding inventory management, data entry and training
  • Call partners to resolve current and future issues (questions, changes, etc.)
  • Provide supplier self-service support and maintenance
  • Flexibly adhere to defined procedures, standards and performance expectations
Who you are:
  • Proficient in English and Hungarian language skills
  • Experience in a customer service oriented industry (hotel or travel industry experience is a plus)
  • Computer literate: You're comfortable with the internet, computer usage and web-based application skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office products and various call center support programs

New Partner Associate – Swedish

Are you a driven sales person, a real ‘hunter’, looking to make an impact at a ground-breaking tech company, powered by the world’s largest online travel platform? This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our brand new "New Partner Team" being set up in our Madrid office.


The Associate’s primary responsibility is to assist in the set up and onboarding of conventional lodging properties within their assigned territory. You will help them maximize the production potential from their participation in the Expedia marketplace by smartly leveraging the power of Expedia Group’s unique data insights. Calling leads and educating Expedia’s UVP to potential properties who have not worked with us will be the primary activity of this role.


This role is central to our account management mission of delivering exceptional travel experiences by bringing the power of the platform to life for our partners, both current and new. This team ensures that our global customers always find the most suitable hotel for their dream trip wherever they want to go, and that our hotel partners can effectively, efficiently and throughout the year, reach our full breadth of global traveler demand.


What you will do:

  • Execute on high value conventional lodging leads from fresh leads and untouched opportunities within target markets as assigned by the distribution engine
  • Build the portfolio of hotel partners by introducing prospective partners to Expedia and facilitate their onboarding process
  • Educate partners on how to offer competitive hotel products (content, rates and availability) to be consistently optimized on the Expedia sites
  • Advise partners on additional lodging rates and availability information regarding high demand and compression periods
  • Employ active listening during conversations with potential partners to adapt responses to local market conditions and partner needs
  • Share best practices within the team in order to achieve overall team targets
  • Continuously promote and develop hotel partners’ high engagement with Expedia’s full suite

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
  • 1-2 years’ relevant work experience, commercial experience is a plus
  • At least 90% of time will be executing on leads with <10% travel (market visits or industry events)
  • Proficiency in Swedish and English
  • Knowledge of Spanish is a plus

Partner Success Associate – German Speaking

The Partner Success Associate’s primary responsibility is to ensure that Expedia Group’s hotels, and all accommodations types in our high demand EMEA flywheel markets have great rates and room types available for the Expedia travelers at all times.


In doing so, Partner Success Associates will also continuously work with Expedia Group’s hotel and accommodation partners to help them improve their end-to-end competitive position taking the most from their participation in the Expedia marketplace. You will work as part of a team, with the primary goal of improving the conversion rate for our high-demand markets.


You will closely work in collaboration with other co-located account management teams to ensure the right and competitive conditions across high demand markets and ultimately provide the best product on EG shelves for our loyal customers.


What you will do:

This is a predominantly phone-based role and you will be reaching out to a portfolio of existing accommodation partners each day. You will closely work with these hotel partners to:

  • Optimize rate and availability competitiveness on the Expedia sites to increase customer conversion
  • Secure additional lodging rates and availability information over high demand and compression periods to satisfy customers’ pressing needs
  • Work side by side with other account management teams to secure an aligned and effective level of competitiveness across high demanded EMEA markets
  • Educate hotel partners on the self-service features available on Expedia Partner Central to make them independent in managing all the core aspects of our marketplace and make the mutual business more sustainable over the partners’ lifecycle
  • Re-establish core fundamentals to re-engage with dormant hotel partners
  • Support demand generation
Who you are:
