This is for you if...

• You’re 18–30, living in Europe
• You care about climate, equality, mental health, or social justice
• You’ve got an idea — and the drive to make it real
• You want to build it with a small team (up to 5 people) and show it at Sziget Festival

You don’t need to be an expert (yet) — just someone who’s ready to act and with a strong motivation.

This Is What You’ll Create

The application consists of two main parts: “The Problem” and “The Presentation”:

The Problem

Tell us what issue you want to tackle.

Is it climate, inequality, mental health, discrimination, or something else?

What’s the local challenge — and why does it matter?

The Presentation

Show us your idea in action!

You’ll design a small, creative “showroom” at Sziget to bring your solution to life.

Think images, objects, prototypes, stories, installations — whatever fits your vision.

We’ll support you with €450 and everything you need to build it.

• Check the criteria: Make sure you’re between 18–30, based in Europe, and applying with a team of max 5 people.
• Prepare your application: Outline your idea, the problem it solves, and how you’ll present it creatively at the festival.
• Submit your form by June 7 (23:59 CET): You can find the application form at the bottom of this page.
• Jury selection (June 20): Our jury will review all entries and select the most promising and creative teams.
• Prep with us: If selected, you’ll join two online prep sessions in July to get ready for Sziget.
• Present your idea at Sziget (August 6–11): Bring your project to life on The Island of Freedom — and share it with thousands.

Sziget is more than a music festival — it’s a platform for ideas. We’ve always believed in the power of community, creativity, and change.

With the Sziget Changemakers project, we’re giving young people space to explore solutions to real problems — and the chance to inspire others into action.
