The Ghanaian Hungarian Business Council was inaugurated by H.E. Mr. Péter Szijjártó, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary in 2017 and works under the auspices of the Embassy of Hungary in Ghana. GHUNBC’s key mandate is to provide an avenue for companies registered in Hungary and Ghana to collaborate and enhance business growth as well as promote trade and investment.

GHUNBC is committed to excellence, innovation, accountability and provides the enabling environment that attracts valuable investments. Our scope of services includes: Consultation, Networking opportunities, Partnership opportunities and Market research. We are members of the European Chamber of Commerce (Eurocham).

Ghana is not only the best place for doing business in West Africa, but the fastest growing economy in the world according to the World Bank’s Ease of Doing Business Report 2019. The country has developed into an established business destination for investors seeking a conducive business environment, committed and progressive government-private sector participation, political stability, transparent regulations and a dynamic private sector ready for partnerships.

As a result, GHUNBC will like to offer a one year internship opportunity to Hungarian University graduates. The Hungarian government has a scholarship scheme which gives 100 Ghanaian students the opportunity to study, and experience the Hungary’s culture and economy. This is an important tool for the career development of Ghanaians.

As there is no scholarship for Hungarian students to experience the working environment or culture in Ghana. In order to meet this experience GHUNBC is offering a one year internship opportunity for the role of Administrative Assistant, to two (2) graduates of Universities in Hungary. This internship opportunity will provide a unique platform for applicants to develop skills, gain valuable experience, and contribute to the objectives of the Ghanaian Hungarian Business Council.

The potential candidate would have the opportunity:

• To travel all 16 regions of Ghana

• To meet small and medium businesses in the Agriculture, Agro processing and trading enterprises.

• To experience the rich culture of Ghana and its warm hospitality.

• To organizing business to business meetings.
