Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of VAT and other indirect tax related reports for multinational clients based on country specific guidance
- Liaison with foreign tax authorities and clients
- Working with colleagues and the management team to exceed clients’ expectations
- Responding to requests from clients and pro-actively anticipating our clients’ needs
Requirements
- Vocational degree
- Strong written and spoken English and German
- Ability to identify potential problems and issues
- Precision, reliability and pro-active personality
- Effective communication skills and client orientation
- Ability to handle large amounts of data
- Team player at heart
- Advanced Excel skills and good computer skills

Main responsibilities
- VAT general ledger reconciliation: comparing the VAT return to the VAT general ledgers, identifying and explaining differences /reconciling items, investigating reconciliation issues, managing its timely resolution
- Journal entries: providing corrective booking entry proposals to clear reconciling items
- Prepare controlling type of activities (analytical review of VAT positions, VAT forecast) and other complex tasks
- Communicate with other KPMG Departments
Requirements
- University/College degree in Accounting/Finance from an accredited college
- 1-2 years of Accounting/Finance related experience
- Working proficiency in English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Flexible personality, team player at heart
- Good problem-solving skills
- Accuracy
