On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

BYD Auto Hungary is looking for a versatile and dynamic

Recruitment Specialist to join our Country HR division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with production and operational departments to understand and align manpower needs based on current staffing levels and business growth targets.
• Establish, improve, and manage recruitment processes specifically tailored to blue-collar positions, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment cycle for physical labor roles, including job posting, CV screening, interview scheduling, offer issuance, and onboarding.
• Develop and expand recruitment channels (e.g. local job centers, vocational schools, staffing agencies, internal referrals) to attract sufficient and qualified candidates.
• Build and maintain relationships with vocational training institutions, support internship and dual education programs.
• Actively participate in job fairs, local hiring events, and recruitment campaigns targeting blue-collar candidates.

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s degree or above, with minimum 1 years of recruitment experience.
• Experience in manufacturing or a similar industrial environment is highly preferred, especially in hiring blue-collar workers (e.g. operators, machine handlers, technicians).
• Fluency in Hungarian is required; English or Chinese at a working proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and intercultural communication skills.
• Proactive mindset, high adaptability, and strong organizational abilities.
