About BYD Auto Hungary

On 22 December 2023, BYD announced the construction of a new energy vehicle production base in Szeged, Hungary, which will be built in phases. The new production base is planned to adopt globally advanced process equipment and highly automated production processes to create a world-leading new energy vehicle manufacturing base.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee project follow-up during the industrial park construction phase, participating in project initiation, planning & design, schedule development, construction, acceptance, and handover.
• Drive project execution to ensure departments adhere to timelines, funding plans, and quality standards.
• Monitor construction progress, prepare visual progress updates, and provide regular reports.
• Identify and prioritize key challenges, major design changes, and critical milestones in construction; promptly report updates to leadership.
• Track risks and anomalies, coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues, and ensure follow-through.
• Coordinate internal/external resources, conduct risk identification, mitigation, and response to ensure on-schedule project delivery.
• Provide support for project acceptance processes (e.g., final inspections, documentation review).

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Required:

• Proficient in Hungarian and English; Chinese language proficiency is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or above in architecture or related majors;
• Strong project management capabilities and cross-cultural communication skills.
