The SZTE RK offers a 3-6 month x-ray internship for radiologist residents.

Entry criteria:
For a 3 month long practice, a minimum of 3 months of X-ray experience is required at the primary training location prior to application.
For a 6 month long practice, x-ray experience is not necessary, but it is useful.


Curriculum:
3 months internship
-2 weeks of x-ray practice with radiographers.
-2 weeks of joint reporting with a specialist
-1 month of elective and inpatient X-ray evaluation in the pool under the supervision of a specialist or senior resident
-1 month of emergency/trauma x-ray evaluation in the pool under the supervision of a specialist or senior resident

6 months internship
-2 weeks of x-ray practice with radiographers
-1 month joint reporting with a specialist
-1 month of elective and inpatient X-ray evaluation in the pool under the direct supervision of a specialist or senior resident
-1 month of emergency/trauma X-ray evaluation in the X-ray team under the direct supervision of a specialist or senior resident
-3 months of reporting in the X-ray team (the team is supervised by a specialist)


Examination:
Last week of practice
-physics
-protocols
-contrast agents
-radiation protection


Certificate:
At the end of the training program, the resident receives a certificate containing the results of the exam.
