The SZTE RK offers 3-6 months of CT practice to radiologiy residents in onco-, neuro-, head-neck and emergency radiology. At the end of the practice, the trainees receive feedback in the form of an exam.

Entry criteria:

3 years of radiology residency training completed (for residents starting after 2022.09.01., ultrasound and X-ray sub examination are required).

Curriculum:

-1 week practice with radiographers, protocols, physics

-Modular training courses (all findings are evaluated in our peer-review system)

-3 weeks chest-abdominal-pelvic oncoradiology

-2 weeks of neuroradiology

-1 week head and neck radiology

-2 days cardio CT

-2 days virtual colonoscopy

-4 weeks of emergency radiology

-Depending on the length of training, 0-3 month rotation.

Examination:

Last week of practice

-neuro, head and neck

-abdomen-pelvis

-chest

-emergency

- physics, protocols, contrast agents

Certificate:

At the end of the training, the resident receives a certificate, which includes the results of the exam and the number and evaluation of the written findings.
