The goals of the Cluster are to increase the innovation capabilities of the University, to enhance the practical benefits of research results, and to strengthen the cooperation between the agents of the R+D and innovation ecosystems in the field of Life Sciences. The Cluster encompasses the excellent domestic and international, inter- and multidisciplinary researches and projects of the University in various fields of study such as translational biomedicine, cognitive medicine, RNS-based innovation developments, developments linked to pharmacy, medical devices, agriculture, and agroindustry , clinical trials, and biobanking.
The Cluster promotes efficient communication and cooperation between units performing research activities. One of its key priorities is to initiate developments with a high innovation potential and to support their execution and practical use.
With the guidance of professional and operations managers, the Cluster harmonizes the operation and development of knowledge bases founded on the synergic cooperation of competence centres, programs, research groups, and partners. As centres with the R+D base and infrastructure to react to the development needs of the market, the competence centres of the Cluster contribute to consolidating the ties between the University and businesses.
