At University of Szeged Department of Medical Genetics, an interdisciplinary team of nationally recognized medical geneticists, genetic counselors, and experts in every specialty of medicine, apply the evolving science of genetics to your medical care. The Center for Medical Genetics is one of the largest and fastest growing adult medical genetics centers in the Hungary because of a dedication to patient well-being.

In genetics, the family is the patient. Our patient services include an extensive evaluation of your personal and family medical history, risk assessment, relevant genetic testing if desired, and state of the art guidance regarding management, screening, early detection, and prevention of disease. We specialize in adult-onset conditions and also provide prenatal genetic counseling.
