The Foreign Language Centre of the University of Szeged (SZTE) supports students in developing their language skills alongside their academic studies. It offers general and specialized language courses in English, French, German, Hungarian, Italian, Russian and Spanish at various levels for students who are not majoring in these languages.
Students with an active status at the University of Szeged can benefit from a certain number of language courses free of charge. The Centre provides flexible learning opportunities designed to help students improve their communication skills, prepare for their studies and gain confidence in using foreign languages in academic and professional settings.
The Foreign Language Centre is also an accredited examination center, offering internationally recognized language exams in English, German and Hungarian, including IELTS, TOLES, ÖSD and Goethe examinations.
