Central Europe’s biggest university library

The SZTE Klebelsberg Library and Archives is the largest university library in Central Europe and one of the University's most important academic facilities. Located in the József Attila Study and Information Centre (TIK), the library houses nearly three million printed and electronic documents, including books, journals, theses and online databases.

The library provides an ideal environment for studying, with spacious reading rooms, individual and group study areas, free Wi-Fi, computer workstations and access to a wide range of electronic resources. Students can search the online catalog, request books from storage, renew borrowed items online and receive assistance from the friendly library staff. During the semester and exam period, the library also offers extended opening hours to support students' academic success.

To activate your library membership, log into Modulo using your Neptun credentials and submit the Membership declaration for university students form under the SZTE Klebelsberg Library section (you only need to do this once during your studies). About 30 minutes after submitting, visit the Circulation Desk on the ground floor with your passport or official ID to verify your identity. Your validated SZTE student ID will serve as your official library card (or staff can issue a temporary card if yours hasn't arrived yet) giving you immediate access to physical loans, quiet study spaces, and off-campus digital resources using your Neptun login.
