Electric Scooter & Bike Regulations in Szeged
Please be aware that local municipal authorities and traffic police are actively enforcing regulations regarding the use and parking of micro-mobility devices (electric scooters, e-skateboards, Segways, hoverboards etc.) and bicycles across Szeged. Non-compliance can result in a fixed mandatory fine of HUF 47.000 (around EUR 130).

Pedestrian Zones (Strict Walking-Only Zones):
Riding bicycles, electric scooters or other motorized micro-mobility devices is strictly prohibited in designated pedestrian zones unless riding in a dedicated cycle lane. You must dismount and push your vehicle in areas such as:
