American Corner Szeged

American Corner Szeged is a welcoming community and cultural space located in the Szent-Györgyi Albert Agóra. Opened in 2018 as part of the global American Spaces network, it aims to connect local communities with American culture, education and society through a wide range of free programs and events.

The Corner regularly hosts English Conversation Clubs, workshops, guest lectures, cultural events and skills-development programs. It also serves as an EducationUSA Reference Center, providing reliable information and guidance for students interested in studying at colleges and universities in the United States. Most events are free of charge and open to everyone, making it an excellent place to practice English, meet new people and learn about American culture.
