Within this category, beyond its excellence in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, the university has secured strong positions in other disciplines. Globally, it ranks 351–400 in Medicine and in Agriculture and Forestry, while maintaining a steady position in the 451–500 range in Biological Sciences.

It is important to note that, in assessing universities worldwide, the QS rankings take multiple factors into account, with weightings varying by subject area. The evaluation criteria include academic and employer assessments of higher education institutions, two key indicators of research impact – citations per publication and the Hirsch index – as well as the international diversity of research collaborations.
