Mandala of Souls - exhibition by Zsuzsanna Kávai
The exhibition will be opened by Szilvia Kovács, public culture specialist.
Address by József Sófi, founder of the University of Szeged Foundation for Talents of Szeged, member of the Szeged Talent Development Council.
Featuring: drum musician Ádám Bitó.
Zsuzsanna Kávai is a former student of the University of Szeged, and a recipient of the SZTE Sófi Foundation Board of Trustees Award. She is currently working as a mental health social worker in a women's homeless shelter in Budapest.
"Since childhood, art has been an important part of my life. Expressing myself through art, freedom, boundlessness, playing with colours and shapes, the hand with paint. In a short time I realised, that in difficult times, what a fantastic tool for 'self-healing' the process of creation is. I have been making mandalas for five years. Space and time disappear, there is only the pure moment when one creates. My drawings are all done freehand, without the use of any tools. The pictures bring to life the world of my own imagination."
Location: Somogyi library, Clubroom, 1-4. Dóm Square
Date: April 19 – May 2.
Time: 16.30

Concert by the Jazzarosa band
Members of the band are Piroska Horváth (vocals), Péter Török (guitar), Péter Pálinkó (piano), Attila Szorcsik (bass), Zsolt Karácson (drums)
The band was founded in 2016, and its repertoire includes sophisticated, melodic jazz standards that have been performed by many well-known artists (Ella Fitzgerald, Stan Getz, Joao Gilberto, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Norah Jones). What makes their performance special is that they usually perform with lyrics in Hungarian, most of which are their own compositions. The songs are complemented by well-known old Hungarian hits, also in jazz style. The mood of the music is pleasant and appealing to the heart and soul. It gives the audience a positive charge and a real elegant relaxation. Each concert is unique, as the tracks are created with improvisational parts to create a special listening experience.

Prophecy - Dance drama for the 200th anniversary of the birth of Sándor Petőfi
