You must give your consent and authorisation on the link above. You will be furthermore obliged to fill out and sign the hard copy of the Authorization, which will be provided at the testing center on the occasion of the first test.

When booking your first date, you will be automatically given a second date for your second test, at least 48 hours after the first one.

Those who have brought a negative SARS-CoV2 test result conducted in a Schengen country accredited laboratory, might be exempted from one test. In this case the test must be sent to the following e-mail address: arrival@szte.hu. On the same Modulo surface where you booked your appointment for the test, you have to indicate that you already have a negative SARS-CoV2 PCR test and will send it to the given e-mail address.

We would like to draw into your attention that a negative SARS-CoV2 test result conducted in a Schengen country is accepted on condition that it is followed by a second test conducted in Hungary at least 48 hours apart and not later than 5 days from the time that the first test took place in the Schengen country.

Students who wish to undergo the test by the University of Szeged should take this into consideration when booking the second test appointment on the Modulo surface. The second test appointment should be 48 hours apart from the first test and fall within the next 5 days from when the first test was taken.

Upon our request, the epidemiological authority will authorise you to go directly to the testing location for both testing occasions on the shortest possible route without the use of any public traffic. You must have all the necessary protective equipment and always wear a mask when you leave your premises to go to the testing site.

In case both test results are negative, the University will hand in a request for the epidemiological authority, requesting your exemption from the mandatory quarantine. You may only leave your quarantine location after you are given the official decision of the authority which will be sent to you by the University via e-mail.

If any of your two tests are positive for SARS-CoV2 then the epidemiological authority will get in touch with you and advice about your next tasks.

Tamerlan Mendybayev – Faculty of Agriculture

My name is Tamerlan Mendybayev. I am from capital of Kazakhstan, Nur-Sultan. Currently I am first year student at the Faculty of Agriculture. I chose the University of Szeged as my study destination for several reasons: firstly, it is a well-known applied science institution in Europe and the best in Hungary. Secondly, the program is designed with a significant focus on the developing practical skills of the students and there is a University pilot farm where students keen their skills and implement their knowledge in practice. Undoubtedly, University of Szeged is a place where students become professionals in their academic field.

Imane_CherbiImane Cherbi - Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

My name is Cherbi Imane and I am 23 years old from Algeria. I am spending my last semester at the University of Szeged Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. Being an MA student of Applied Linguistics, University of Szeged offered me a chance to gain sufficient knowledge about my field of study. I choose the University of Szeged simply because it is a highly ranked academic institution both nationally and internationally; also because of the variety of programs that they have for international students. I love everything in Szeged: every corner of every street, I will always keep them in my heart. I take photos of the city when walking around and I am planning to launch a blog to promote this beautiful corner of Hungary among international students. People of Szeged are caring, always smiling and we are living peacefully together. I have never felt isolated or neglected. As a coffee lover, i always enjoy having my favorite type of coffee in different coffees in Szeged. Lookin for calmness and nature vibes, I would certainly walk by the Tisza river whenever I want.
