A Memorandum of Understanding was signed launching a dual degree programme between the Faculty of Economics at the University of Szeged and the Faculty of Management of the University of Warsaw.
Under the agreement, students of International Economy and Management master programme spend one of their academic years at the Faculty of Economics at the University of Szeged while the other is at the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw in English so they can obtain two degrees at a time. The Memorandum was executed by the head of the two faculties, Beata Glinka, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Management University of Warsaw, and Péter Kovács, Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Warsaw on October 4th.

‘The opportunity is open for both Szeged and Warsaw students, the acquisition of a double degree in both institutions involves 30-40 students per class, including Hungarian and foreign students. At the end of the program, those students who have the ability to find new partners and promote international economic and trade co-operation will be awarded with a diploma from the two institutions’ said Péter Kovács. He added that this double degree programme has been co-operating with the universities of Pavia, Normandy and Hagen. With this agreement, the participants of the economic training in Szeged can join a new, prestigious foreign university.
