The Prekajac-sisters became mentors of the Erasmus Student Network after a year spent in Spain with Erasmus scholarship. Petra and Ella help Spanish-speaking students at the University of Szeged.
’We discuss what to wear and how to style our hair every single morning; we look identical, yet we are different in our identities’ says Ella. Petra is honest, open-minded, impatient and oversensitive, while her sister is precise, patient and funny.
The identical twins do almost everything together: they love dancing and singing, but their true passion is to help others. ’After having spent a year in Spain with Erasmus, we had to realize that we need so much help and assistance when one has to live abroad – this is the reason why we joined the ESN Szeged mentoring body to assist Spanish students. Mostly we help them in finding a flat, using the library as well as dealing with administrative issues. We also take part in organising several programmes for international students.’
