Let’s save 300 lives together! With this phrase the University of Szeged together with the National Blood Transfusion Service are jointly organizing a second event dedicated to blood donating for a whole day. Citizens of the University of Szeged can join blood donor’s camp voluntarily at József Attila Study and Information Center on October 3rd Wednesday, between 10 a.m. and 17 p.m.
The University of Szeged is committed to blood donation, therefore asks for its members to attend the event and donate blood. With one blood donation, we can help three patients while at the same time it also serves the health of the blood donors.
After carrying out compulsory tests, the blood group is determined and screening tests covering HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and syphilis are performed.
Those university members who are over 18 years old can participate in the blood donation, including foreign students by bringing their Hungarian TAJ and address card – this two must be presented at the donation with an ID card or passport.
