Kick-off Parties - Academic Year 2017

Join the great programmes and concerts between August 28 and September 2, 2017 at TIK (József Attila Study and Information Center). Join us at the event and feel the membership of the Greatest Community in Town.

Meet your Hungarian fellow students who gather to have their academic registration done that week (academic registration for international students happens between Sept 4. – Sept. 8. or before Aug. 28. for international students at the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy, Faculty of Dentistry).

You will have the chance to get to know the units of the University, like Karrier Office, Alumni Office, Erasmus Student Network, Életvezetési Tanácsadó Központ (Student Advisor Center) and many other units which will all be at your service while studying at SZTE.

Some of the programmes:

• Concerts and Lounges all day long

• Environmental tricks in your house

• Quizzes, Logic Games,

• Bike Maintenance

• Basketball Plank

• Library Tour at 1:00, 2:00 and 3 p.m.

Those who visit certain number of booths will have the chance to won one of the prizes: coupons for food, sports, SZTE gifts.

mendezMatheus Vasconcelos Goes Mendes – Faculty of Medicine - General Medicine

I’m from Brazil, but I feel very comfortable in Szeged. Attending the courses, I acquired thorough knowledge, which was helped by the well-equipped labs, and the modern library of the University. Despite the hustle and bustle, the town is still safe, the quality of life is considerably high, and we receive every assistance to fit in, such as excellent program administration or help searching for accommodations.

I’m a Ph.D. student from Indonesia and a Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship student. I first heard about the University of Szeged from the Tempus Foundation university list with excellent program descriptions, and it caught my eyes. My student life has been a pleasant one because of the beautiful environment, and TIK library facility. The teachers and staffs are accommodating, and my mentors and classmates also contributed to exploring the city with pleasant memories. The city is very affordable, and I live in a shared flat very close to the city center. In my free time, I engage in sporting activities or watch movies. My favorite spot is the Dugonics square, but my best attraction is the Tisza River. The University of Szeged is a beautiful experience for me, and I will recommend it to my friends. I am happy to be part of the University of Szeged.
