With its 63 kilometers of bike lanes, 300 bike racks and several B+R (Bike and Ride) developments, Szeged is an ideal place for biking or scootering.


One of the most comfortable ways of transport in Szeged is using a bicycle. Easy and fast access to anywhere in a few minutes and you can secure your bike all around the city. You can enjoy the beautiful views of Szeged while you’re riding your bike to your destination. It is also fun, cheap and good for the environment. If you do not own a bicycle, you can always rent or buy a second hand one.


Scootering has also become more and more popular in the town. The city of Szeged launched a scooter rental service in 2021 provided. If you want to get somewhere fast, and don’t want to bother with locking your bike, finding a parking spot or taking the bus, you can rent a scooter!
