Neptun Registration

Neptun is an online education system which allows the administration of your studies. The system stores your personal details, furthermore all information related to your studies: courses taken, results, decisions etc.

As a first step you are asked to register to the system by using your personal data. Following the activation of your Neptun account, you will need to sign up for your courses in Neptun. Course registration will always take place in Neptun, each semester during your whole course of studies.

The Neptun registration procedure for Freshmen varies by Faculty. Certain Faculties organize joint Neptun registration during the orientation week where students take part in the process in person, others request the students to register to the system online even before their arrival to Szeged. You are requested to follow the Faculty procedure.

Your personal data is automatically imported to Neptun from Dream Apply, therefore during the registration it is important to use the same data which was given during the application process in the Dream Apply.

In case your registration fails we ask you

• to contact your programme coordinator to see if your data is transferred to the system
• To check data is given during the registration: please type exactly the same data you have given when applying via Dream Apply. Please pay special attention to the followings:
• Name - family name goes first
• Mother's maiden name: full name is needed and family name goes first
• Place of birth: only the city
• Date of birth: year/month/day;

During the pandemic, you might need an official document from the University about your student status for travelling purposes. In this case you will need to complete Neptun registration before your arrival to Szeged. For details please check section dealing with the Modulo System.
