SZTE Alma Mater, the alumni organization of the University of Szeged, is launching the next round of its Alumni Mentoring Program, which will run in Fall 2025. Applications from current students will be accepted throughout September, with the program also open to alumni who would like to be mentors.
Goals
The Alumni Mentoring Program (AMP) offers University of Szeged students the chance to receive professional guidance, build valuable connections, and prepare for the expectations of the job market – all with the support of experienced SZTE graduates. At the same time, it provides mentors with a rewarding way to support emerging talent while strengthening the professional community of their alma mater. At its core, the program seeks to bridge academic studies and the world of work, fostering meaningful collaboration between SZTE and the labor market.
Outcomes
Since its launch in 2014, the AMP has grown into a well-established initiative with significant impact:
- A total of 886 mentoring processes have been completed to date.
- The mentor database currently features 2,778 registered alumni mentors.
- Alumni mentors now come from nearly 50 countries, representing diverse professional fields and career stages.
