At the General Assembly of the Erasmus Student Network (ESN) Hungary, held at the University of Szeged, Richárd Bodrogi – Director General of the Tempus Public Foundation – gave a detailed presentation on current and upcoming scholarship opportunities, with particular emphasis on the Pannónia Scholarship program. This program is designed to support the international mobility of students enrolled at Hungarian higher education institutions. In his presentation, Bodrogi outlined the program’s eligibility criteria and the financial support it offers. He also addressed how such scholarships contribute to students’ academic and personal development, as well as their acquisition of valuable international experience.
Following his presentation, the Director engaged in an extended dialogue with ESN mentors, answering a wide range of questions about how scholarships are organized in practice, the details of the application process, and the future of mobility programs. This discussion was especially valuable for the mentors, who play a key role in supporting international students in Hungary and advising Hungarian students interested in studying abroad. Equipped with this knowledge, they can better guide and assist their peers in navigating international opportunities.
