Three exceptional students from the University of Szeged were awarded the prestigious Stipendium Hungaricum Student Excellence Award for their outstanding academic achievements. The awards were presented during the “Stipendium Hungaricum Welcome Event 2024,” held on October 16 at the Danubius Hotel Helia in Budapest.
The recognition celebrates the remarkable achievements of Ancheta Jobelle Fermin (Food Engineering, Faculty of Engineering), Brunet Wagner Rosildo Cassule (Environmental Engineering, Faculty of Science and Informatics), and Hamdan Lujain Ahmad Samih (Dentistry, Faculty of Dentistry). The certificates were personally presented by Miklós Lengyel, Deputy State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, during the Stipendium Hungaricum Welcome Event 2024, held at the Danubius Hotel Helia in Budapest.
The event, organized by the Tempus Public Foundation, served as a platform to greet new international scholarship holders arriving in Hungary for the 2024/25 academic year. The Stipendium Hungaricum program, launched by the Hungarian government, aims to promote cultural exchange and academic excellence by providing fully funded scholarships to students from around the globe. The ceremony brought together program representatives, current scholars, and newcomers, offering opportunities to connect, share experiences, and explore Hungarian culture.
