18.30 Csillagom... Concert by Edina Szirtes Mókus and János Fekete Jammal
Edina Szirtes Mókus Mókus will perform a deeply emotional concert about joy, sorrow, struggle and the all-encompassing deep, deep love. János Fekete Jammal is a colourful phenomenon of the Hungarian music scene. His beatbox show is not only about imitating drum sounds and mixing effects, but also about weaving these sounds into a story, which makes it unique.

The 26th Autumn Cultural Festival will open with a special light painting. This exceptional but now traditional event will mark the start of a colourful series of events for a colourful university, as we once again illuminate the Rector's Building of the University of Szeged.

Indonesian Batik Day
It is an Indonesian cultural day for celebrating batik, the traditional cloth of Indonesia. It is celebrated on 2nd of October and marks the anniversary of when UNESCO recognized batik as a Masterpiece of Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity in 2009. IISMA students at the University of Szeged, are going to hold an event. The event is titled Batik Day, Evoking The Beauty of Indonesia.The event consist of several sub-events, starting with a traditional dance performance and followed with a runway fashion show of Indonesia’s Batik, and lastly, there will be a workshop on how to use batik in #Berkain. SZTE Students’ Day at the Móra Ferenc Museum
A large-scale international exhibition opened in the Móra Ferenc Museum titled Legendary Wild West. The main characters of the exhibition are cowboys and the indigenous peoples of the Americas. The core material of the exhibition is from the USA, from the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma, and materials arrived from the Museum of Ethnography.

Lorenzo Marmiroli: Assistant Professor at the University of Szeged from Italy, translator from Hungarian to Italian, lives in Hungary for 10 years. Devanshi Dash: medical student from India, who has been studying in Szeged for 2 years, previously studied and worked in the United States. Moderator: Anett Árvay, lecturer and researcher at SZTE, holds linguistics, language pedagogy and cultural courses for Hungarian and foreign students.

Bulgarian Dance House with Balkán Táncegyüttes (Balkan Dance Ensemble)
The ensemble regularly performs at domestic festivals and cultural events, but their goal is not only to perform folk dances on stage, but to also teach these dances in dance houses. The ensemble maintains a close relationship with the Bulgarian groups living in Szeged, and the ensemble’s leader, Dániel Majthényi, teaches Bulgarian folk dances every month in Nemzetiségek Háza here in Szeged.

Sitar Concert by Debasish Ganguly
Born in Calcutta, Debasish Ganguly is a sitarist who now regularly gives highly successful concerts in India, Japan, Australia and of course in several countries in Europe. He also composed the soundtrack for the film Island by Australian director Paul Cox, which was screened at the 1990 Cannes Film Festival. In 2010 he composed the music for Tamás Tóth's film Guru in Hungary.

Zűrös Banda Concert
Their first album got released in September 2015 with the help of Fonó Budai Zeneház. Soon after the album was released, against other strong international contesters, it got on the most prestigious world music chart, the World Music Charts Europe’s best album list. Folk songs and folk themes (Hungarian, Serbian, Macedonian, Bulgarian, Romanian) appear in the band’s songs, and are accompanied with modern rhythm sections.
