A year ago, the members of the University of Szeged were asked to help saving 300 lives together. Last year's blood donation produced an unexpected success: 171 blood donors contributed to saving 513 lives. After the extremely successful blood donations, university citizens are again asked to come and help saving lives by donating blood: on the 100th day of the year, voluntary blood donors are awaited on the 10th April at the József Attila Study and Information Centre.
On the 10th of April, between 10:00 am and 17:00 pm, at the József Attila Study and Information Center they are waiting for all current and first blood donors - and now the University of Szeged wants to set the bar even higher: hoping that the University of Szeged will be among the first to receive the ‘Blood Donation-Friendly Higher Education Institution’ title!
You can book an appointment on the website of the National Blood Supply Service. Documents are required for blood donation: address card, an ID with a recognizable photo and TAJ card. Before donating blood, it is suggested that you have breakfast and drink plenty of fluids.
The organizers aprecciate the blood donors’ time with a gift package, including a discount coupon offered by Király Zöldség, a discount coupon offered by UrbanGo "Trekking adventure in downtown Szeged", a Mórahalom spa entrance ticket, a 500 forint Erzsébet voucher, water and chocolate. Besides, blood donors will also have the chance to win valuable gifts at 17:00 pm. Three packages of Wine nets will find their lucky owner, two Classic Cafe gift cards worth 5,000 Ft each, two Lucky Pizzeria gift vouchers and three SZTE gift packages.
