ERC Information Day at the University of Szeged

ERCEA (European Research Council Executive Agency) delegation will visit the University of Szeged, 11 March 2019.

The purpose of the visit is to provide an overview of the H2020 regulations in respect of ERC, to offer tailored support and to respond to any specific questions arising.


The event will have two separate sessions:

Panel session 1: on ERC grants for researchers, considering to apply for an ERC grant, and to ERC grantees.

Related topics: Funding opportunities, the application & evaluation process and some practical advice on how to increase the chances of a successful application.


Panel session 2: on the administrative aspects of ERC grants management for administrators and management teams.

Related topics: Presentations about financial reporting and cost eligibility criteria, amendments.

I live in Budapest, and I commute by train to Szeged every day. It’s not a huge distance for me, I got used to travelling back home. I study, watch the scenery or the people. Once I lost my wallet, and everyone around me tried to help. One of them offered to give me some money, another one offered to take me where I had to go. I love Szeged, Hungarians and nice, and I like the cuisine, though the spicy food is not spicy enough for my taste. I’m very happy to study here. At the Faculty of Economics, the program is practice-oriented, we get a lot of useful information and a lot of opportunities are offered by our professors.
