Since 19 December, 2015 the opening hours of the Klebelsberg Library and József Attila Study and Information Centre has changed. University of Szeged close its gates at 4 pm, December 23, 2015 and opening them at 8 am, January 4, 2016. The winter closure does not affect the buildings where health or public entities operate.
According to the decision of the Senate of the University of Szeged the first semester of 2015/2016 school year is made up as follows:
Exam period: December 7, 2015 – December 23, 2015; January 4, 2016 – January 22, 2016.
Winter time: December 24, 2015 – January 03, 2016
Re-exam period: January 25, 2016 – January 29, 2016.
Similarly to other buildings and institutions of the University of Szeged, the József Attila Study and Information Centre and Klebelsberg Library will close at 4 pm, December 23, 2015. Next opening: 8 am, January 4, 2016.
According to the decision of the leadership of the University of Szeged the opening hours of the Klebelsberg Library and József Attila Study and Information Centre will be as follows: Monday - Friday: 08:00-22:00, Saturday: 09:00 - 20:00.
The new schedule starts on the 19th of December 2015. Opening days in December: December 19: 09-20, December 21: 08-22, December 22: 08-22, December 23: 08-16. During these days no access will be available to significant part of the services of the Klebelsberg Library, but automated online services are operating.

In the spirit of energy saving in this winter the University of Szeged closes its doors for two weeks. Between 24 December 2015 and 3 January 2016, the office administration suspended, the large part of university buildings are closed, in these building limiting the use of heat and power. The academic life will start again on Monday, 4 January 2016.
