Egyetemi Doktori Kiválósági Ösztöndíjak

A Szegedi Tudományegyetem a doktori képzésben résztvevő hallgatók széles körét kívánja támogatni Egyetemi Doktori Kiválósági Ösztöndíj pályázattal.

A Szenátus 2023. június 26-án elfogadta az alábbi ösztöndíj szabályozást:

Doktori Kiválósági Ösztöndíjak

(1) A Doktori Kiválósági ösztöndíjak célja a doktori képzésben részt vevő hallgatók magyar állami ösztöndíjának kiegészítése, egyben a legtehetségesebb, legjobban teljesítő doktoranduszok támogatása, egzisztenciális helyzetük stabilitásának elősegítése, az akadémiai életpályára lépés vonzóvá tétele.

(2) A Doktori Kiválósági ösztöndíjban az adott félévben aktív hallgatói jogviszonnyal rendelkező, doktori képzésben részt vevő hallgatók részesülhetnek.

(3) A Doktori Kiválósági ösztöndíj forrása a Szegedi Tudományegyetem által biztosított, az 51/2007. (III.26.) Korm. rendelet 6. §-ban meghatározott saját bevétel valamit a Szegedi Tudományegyetemért Alapítvány (SZTA) által erre biztosított céltámogatás.

(4) A Doktori Kiválósági Ösztöndíj az alábbi jogcímeken állapítható meg:

a) aktív hallgatói státusszal rendelkező hallgatók pályázat útján elnyerhető ösztöndíja az SZTE Doktori Ösztöndíj+,

b) szakmai kiválóságon alapuló ösztöndíjak az SZTE Kiválósági Doktori Ösztöndíj valamit az SZTE Kiválósági Doktori Ösztöndíj+,

c) szakmai kiválóságon alapuló extraösztöndíj alapítványi forrásból a Szegedi Tudományegyetemért Alapítvány (SZTA) Tehetség Doktori Ösztöndíj.

(5) A Doktori Kiválósági ösztöndíj pályázatokat valamennyi aktív félév során külön kell benyújtani. A pályázat alapján elnyerhető ösztöndíjak az őszi félévben 5 hónapra (szeptember-január), a tavaszi félévben 7 hónapra (február-augusztus) szólnak. A Doktori Kiválósági ösztöndíj bármely típusa együttesen legfeljebb az állami ösztöndíjas félévek számának megfelelő félévre, maximálisan 8 félévre nyerhető el.

(6) A Doktori Kiválósági ösztöndíj megállapítása a Doktori Intézet által kiírt pályázat alapján történik. A pályázat és elbírálás feltételeit a Doktori Intézet a (7) bekezdésben leírt szempontok figyelembe vételével, tanévenként határozza meg. A pályázati felhívás tartalmazza a pályázati feltételeket, a benyújtás határidejét, az értékelés szempontrendszerét és az ösztöndíjra való jogosultsággal összefüggő követelményeket.

(7) A pályázatok elbírálása során a pályázók kiváló szakmai tudományos teljesítményét valamint az oktatási tevékenységét kell értékelni, az alábbi általános szempontok szerint:

a) kiváló szakmai/tudományos teljesítmény (a szerezhető pontok max. 70 %-a)

aa) tanulmányaikban a komplex vizsga előtt álló hallgatók esetében:

- OTDK részvétel vagy azon elért eredmény

- nemzetközi konferencia absztrakt benyújtása vagy előadás tartása

- legalább Q2 besorolású közlemények

- a közleményekre kapott citációk száma

- részvétel elnyert kutatási pályázatban

ab) tanulmányaikban a komplex vizsga után álló hallgatók esetében:

- legalább Q2 besorolású közlemények

- nemzetközi konferencia absztrakt benyújtása vagy előadás tartása

- közleményre kapott citációk száma

- részvétel elnyert kutatási pályázatban

b) oktatási tevékenység (a szerezhető pontok max. 30 %-a).

University Doctoral Excellence Scholarships

The University of Szeged wishes to support a wide range of students participating in doctoral training with the University Doctoral Excellence Scholarship application. On June 26, 2023, the Senate adopted the following scholarship regulations:

Doctoral Excellence Scholarships

(1) The purpose of the Doctoral Excellence Scholarships is to supplement the Hungarian state scholarship for students participating in doctoral training, at the same time to support the most talented and best performing doctoral students, to promote the stability of their existential situation, and to make the entry into the academic career attractive.

(2) Students who have an active student status and are participating in a doctoral program in the given semester can receive the Doctoral Excellence Scholarship.

(3) The funding of the Doctoral Excellence Scholarship is provided by the University of Szeged, based on income defined by § 6 of the 51/2007. (III.26.) Government Decree, as well as a special grant provided by the Szeged University Foundation (SZTA).

(4) The Doctoral Excellence Scholarship can be established under the following legal titles:

a) the scholarship for students with active student status, which can be awarded by application, is the SZTE Doctoral Scholarship+,

b) scholarships based on professional excellence are the SZTE Excellence Doctoral Scholarship and the SZTE Excellence Doctoral Scholarship+,

c) an extra scholarship from foundation funds, based on professional excellence, is the Szeged University Foundation (SZTA) Talent Doctoral Scholarship.

(5) Doctoral Excellence Scholarship applications must be submitted separately during each active semester. Scholarships that can be awarded based on the application are for 5 months in the fall semester (September-January) and 7 months in the spring semester (February-August). The joint number of semesters of any type of Doctoral Excellence Scholarship can be won for the same length as the number of semesters with a state scholarship, i.e. a maximum of 8 semesters.

(6) The Doctoral Excellence Scholarship is determined based on an application issued by the Doctoral Institute. The Doctoral Institute determines the conditions of the application and the assessment for each academic year, taking into account the aspects described in paragraph 7. The call for applications contains the application conditions, the deadline for submission, the evaluation criteria, and the requirements related to eligibility for the scholarship.

(7) During the evaluation of applications, the excellent professional academic performance and educational activities of the applicants must be evaluated, according to the following general criteria:

a) excellent professional/scientific performance (max. 70% of points)

aa) in the case of students facing the complex exam in their studies:

- participation or results achieved at OTDK (National Scientific Students' Associations Conference)

- submitting an abstract or giving a presentation at an international conference

- publications rated at least Q2

- number of citations received for publications

- participation in an awarded research grant

ab) in the case of students who have passed the complex exam in their studies:

- publications rated at least Q2

- submitting an abstract or giving a presentation at an international conference

- number of citations received for publications

- participation in an awarded research grant

b) educational activity (max. 30% of points).
