The Directorate of Finance and Engineering, University of Szeged (hereafter Inviting Authority) invites candidates to an open procedure for supplying the following product:

Short specification of product:

Ca-imaging system for microscopic ratiometric analysis of cell cultures including Xenon light source, filter wheel, software update, controller and work station

Xenon light source, including 300Watt ozone free Xenon short arc lamp, cold mirror, power supply and lamp housing, support base with mounting rods, drop-in filter holder. Supplied with spare bulb, liquid light guide (2m length, 3 mm diameter), C-mount lens and lens tube, microscope coupler for Nikon EPI illuminator.

Filter wheel (filter changer) for 25 mm diameter optical filters, min. 6 positions, integrated shutter (), flange set for Nikon Ti excitation port. Electronic filter wheel controller with RS232/USB communication interface, simultaneous control of the filter wheel and the integrated shutter. Communication cables are included.

Image-Pro 7 software additional single user license with USB key and up-date from IPP7 to MDA (Multi- Dimensional Acquisition), Image-Pro the multi-dimensional acquisition features of AFA (Advanced Fluorescence Applications).

FURA-2 filter set and filter block (excitation filters 340 nm and 380 nm; emission filter 510 nm, dichroic mirror 400 nm)

High End Imaging Workstation (processor min. 2,8GHz, min 4GB RAM min. 1x250GB S-ATA hard disk, and 2x min. 1TB S-ATA hard disk, min. 16X DVD +/- RW; min. 1GB ATI FirePro V4800 2xDisplayPort, 1xDVI; with pre-installed Windows XP operation system and Office 2007 Basic software package. 24” TFT-LCD Display
Installation and Calibration inclusive Travel and accommodation

The official language of the procedure is Hungarian, but offers can also be submitted in English language. The Inviting Authority expects offers from suppliers that can guarantee a prompt delivery and have a stable financial background. The Inviting Authority reserves the right to request further information from candidates within 5 working days in writing . Request for further information will be sent to each candidate with a valid offer. Following the submission deadline, the Inviting Authority evaluates the offers and candidates are informed on the result with the least possible delay.

The Inviting Authority reserves the right to cancel the above offer procedure fully or partially, without any justification. The Inviting Authority is not liable for consequences resulted by the withdrawal.

This call for proposal is not to be considered as a contractual commitment undertaken by the Inviting Authority. The call and the full procedure are subject to the Inviting Authority’s internal regulations.
