Student ID – I lost my permanent student ID

Please email the Students’ Service Office about losing your student card and to register a new application.

 

Student ID – I haven’t applied for a student card, but I’d like to do it now

A NEK datasheet, which can be obtained in any Government Office, is needed for the application. Please email us your scanned NEK datasheet along with your ID (national ID, license, passport or residence permit).

 

Student ID – I need a temporary student ID while my permanent ID application is processed

If your student status is active, you can get a temporary student ID until your permanent ID is manufactured. The temporary ID is vadid for 60 days. It can be issued free of charge as soon as the permanent ID application has been registered. To request a temporary student ID, submit the request form in Modulo.

 

Student ID – How long is the student ID valid for?

The validity of the card itself is printed on the back of the card. Student IDs validated for the fall semester are valid until March 31 and for the spring semester until October 31. Temporary student IDs are valid for 60 days from the day of issuance.

 

The old, blue student ID cards cannot be validated anymore (as of the semester of 2020/21/1).

 

The validity of the stickers that expired during the pandemic (semesters of 2019/20/1 and 2019/20/2) has been extended for use in public transport.

 

Scholarship – I’m eligible for scholarship, but I didn’t receive it.

Please make sure that your bank account and tax payer’s ID number are registered in Neptun and are correct, as well as that your bank account is valid and is able to receive incoming money transfer.

 

Scholarship – I didn’t register my bank account and/or tax payer’s ID number

To register your bank account and/or tax payer’s ID number, please fill out the Tax payer's ID, SSN and Bank account announcement form in Modulo.

 

Student Status Certificate – Where can I get one?

You can file a request in Modulo by submitting the Request of student status certificate form. You can choose the language of the certificate – it can be Hungarian or English.

 

Student Status Certificate – How can I collect my Student Status Certificate?

Student Status Certificates are mailed to the address registered in the request. We can only mail certificates to Hungarian mailing addresses. If you don’t have a Hungarian mailing address, please contact us at hszi@hszi.u-szeged.hu.
