The Directorate of Finance and Engineering, University of Szeged (hereafter Inviting Authority) invites candidates to an open procedure for supplying the following service:

„Repair of the defect SM5 control system (remote control system SM5, control system for 6 axes, S/N 035-S0249) and the repair of one defect Y-axis of the Luigs & Neumann Junior manipulator” for the Department of Physiology, Anatomy and Neuroscience, University of Szeged.”

Estimated Date of delivery: Within 60 calendar days following the date of contract.

Short specification of service:

1. Repair of the defect SM5 control system (remote control system SM5, control system for 6 axes, S/N 035-S0249)

 

Problem:

Two SM5 boxes controlling 4 manipluators, no matters how they are connected each other, after a few minutes of working, one of the manipulators can’t communicate with the keyboard, the connection order between the boxes and the keyboard were rearranged but this did not change anything, the manipulator gets jammed after a few minutes, there is no error message displayed, a new keyboard seemed to be OK int he beginning, the same malfunction started to occur after a few days.

  • test to figure out reason of malfunction
  • ecchange of platine for 3 axis
  • test of function

 

2. Repair of one defect Y-axis of the Luigs & Neumann Junior manipulator

Problem:

Y-axis movement not possible, axis got tilted.

 

Kind of repair work:

  • test to figure out reason of malfunction
  • exchange of guidances, 4 pcs.
  • exchange of ball bearings, 2 pcs.
  • exchange of roller cages, 2 pcs.
  • exchange of interior part (only if damaged)
  • small parts
  • oiling, cleaning and re-adjustment of axis
  • test of function

Payment terms:

The currency of invoice and payment is EUR. The payment takes place in 30 days from the date of the invoice’s delivery, with bank transfer on the basis of the proof of the performance issued by the Institute.

The Inviting Authority expects offers from suppliers that can guarantee a prompt delivery and have a stable financial background. The Inviting Authority reserves the right to request further information from candidates within 5 working days in writing . Request for further information will be sent to each candidate with a valid offer. Following the submission deadline, the Inviting Authority evaluates the offers and candidates are informed on the result with the least possible delay.

The Inviting Authority reserves the right to cancel the above offer procedure fully or partially, without any justification. The Inviting Authority is not liable for consequences resulted by the withdrawal.

This call for proposal is not to be considered as a contractual commitment undertaken by the Inviting Authority. The call and the full procedure are subject to the Inviting Authority’s internal regulations.
