Short specification of service:

Sanger sequencing of 250 DNA samples in a barcode system:

ABI 3730 XL sequencing run with a read length up to 1,100 nt (PHRED20 quality). Production of sequence reads of 500-1100 nucleotide length from purified, cloned plasmids and amplified (not cloned) PCR fragments using primers supplied by the costumer. The PCR fragments came from direct amplification of various fungi. The PCR products will be supplied in 1.5 ml Eppendorf tubes. Data formats for the compliance of the service: chromatograms (.abi and .scf files) and the text sequence (.fsa file).

The tenderer give the unit prices mentioned under:

• Determination of the sequence of one sample using one primer (1 sequencing run)……. HUF or EUR/sample
• Total: ……….HUF or EUR
• The offer price should include all the expenses (e.g. shipping to Szeged, Hungary; handling etc.) of the service.

Expected professional capacity of tenderer:

• The tenderer needed to have at least 2 references connected to the performance of the DNA sequence (approx. 1000 bp reliable reading) service in 36 months prior to the tender deadline.
• Make a declaration including the customer’s name, representative and contact, the subject of the procurement, the date of performance, amount of consideration and the number of pieces on his sequence references in 36 months prior to the tender deadline.
• Ability to complete the sequencing within 3 days after receiving the samples from the costumer.

Award criteria:

• the lowest price - tender with the lowest price will obtain the right for contracting from those that are technically compliant (fulfill all the requirements indicated under chapter ’Expected professional capacity of tenderer’).

Terms of payment:

• The currency of invoice and payment is EUR or HUF. The payment takes place within 30 days from the date of the invoice’s delivery, with bank transfer on the basis of the proof of the performance issued by the Institute.

The official language of the procedure is Hungarian, but offers can also be submitted in English language. The Inviting Authority expects offers from suppliers that can guarantee a prompt delivery and have a stable financial background. Request for further information will be sent to each candidate with a valid offer. Following the submission deadline, the Inviting Authority evaluates the offers and candidates are informed on the result with the least possible delay.
