Access to the world's largest educational platform has been simplified even further: now you only need a Neptun code to log in to Coursera for SZTE.

As a result of a development, university citizens can now log in to Coursera for SZTE without filling in a Modulo form. The new form of login, called single sign on (SSO), is a special form of software authentication that allows the user to identify themselves only once when logging in. This makes it even easier to use Coursera.

The cooperation between the University of Szeged and Coursera is a good example of the need to constantly adapt to the digital environment and to innovate. The focus of the new login system was to improve the user experience. The platform, which is now accessible and usable not only for students but also for university staff, is even better integrated with the SZTE interface.

Coursera is the world's largest online learning platform, where users can take courses from universities and companies such as Yale, the University of Michigan, Google and IBM. As a result of the cooperation between Coursera and the University of Szeged, students and employees of the SZTE can access these courses and the certificate of course completion free of charge.

Coursera for SZTE is a great opportunity for university citizens to gain additional knowledge to their degree that can give them an advantage in the job market and useful knowledge in everyday life. Both SZTE and Coursera aim to provide knowledge that can be put to good use. Access to this knowledge base has been facilitated by the development, which should make the platform even more attractive to use.

Courses can be self-paced, allowing participants to progress through the chosen learning material at their own pace and according to their comfort and ability. Successful completion of the courses will lead to a certificate, which can serve as a valuable reference. There are also other benefits to using Coursera for SZTE beyond the acquisition of knowledge: students can gain credits by completing the courses, and those who have completed the Learning how to Learn course will receive an extra five institutional points in the higher education admissions process.

The implementation of the training is supported by the project RRF-2.1.2-21-2022-00012, Complex Digital Model Change - Smart Grade Change. The project is implemented in the framework of Hungary's Recovery and Resilience Plan.
