Everyone celebrates the Easter long weekend in different ways. Some are expecting guests, some spend it with close family, others go on a trip with friends or organise a joint activity. But it's almost certain that food will feature in every Easter programme.
The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology's course, The Science of Gastronomy, is a course that anyone with an interest in gastronomy can enjoy. You will gain a wealth of interesting and useful knowledge during the course. You'll learn about the science of cooking, chemistry, serving, sensory perception, cultures, flavours and how to identify good and healthy ingredients.
The course takes about 15 hours to complete and does not require any basic knowledge.
