Future Sustainability Leaders Program 2024

A Future Sustainability Leaders (FSL) program célja, hogy a fiatalok aktív támogatásával a jövő „fenntarthatósági vezetőivé” válhassanak. Ezen egyéves program a résztvevőknek gyakorlatias tanulást, kapcsolatépítési lehetőségeket kínál, illetve olyan készségekkel ruházza fel őket, amelyekkel a jövő zöld munkahelyein sikeresek lehetnek egy egyre inkább digitálisan fejlett és összetett világban.

A kiválasztott jelöltek lehetőséget kapnak arra, hogy részt vegyenek a régió legnagyobb fenntarthatósági találkozóján, az Abu Dhabi Sustainability héten, ami 2024-ben kerül megrendezésre.


A programra jelentkezőknek az alábbi feltételeknek kell megfelelniük:

  • A programra egyetemi tanulmányok, illetve munkavégzés mellett is lehet jelentkezni, hiszen hibrid módon folynak az előadások.
  • Az Egyesült Arab Emírségek állampolgára vagy nemzetközi diák, 19 és 35 év között.
  • Egyetemi diplomával rendelkezik vagy jelenleg tanulmányokat folytat egy akkreditált intézményben (minden szak számára nyitva áll).
  • Kiváló angoltudással rendelkezik.
  • Fenntarthatósággal kapcsolatos területen való érdeklődést mutat.
  • Tanulmányok vagy publikációk megléte nem szükséges, de előnyt jelentenek.
  • Az online jelentkezési űrlap beküldési határideje 2023. október 31. (kedd)

A Future Sustainability Leaders - Szerepek és Felelősségek:

  • A „Skillup” online tanulási sorozat teljesítése.
  • Részvétel az év során minden virtuális eseményen (az Abu Dhabi Fenntarthatósági Héten személyesen, azonban ennek kiadásait fedezik).
  • Részt venni az Y4S Innovation Lab-en.
  • Koordináció, feladatok kezelése.
  • Pozitív hozzáállással rendelkezik és "emberorientáltnak".
Invitation to nominate students for the Future Sustainability Leaders program 2024

We would like to invite you to nominate five students to participate in the sixth edition of the of Future Sustainability Leaders (FSL) program, a key pillar of Masdar’s Youth 4 Sustainability (Y4S) platform.
Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Y4S invests in and actively supports the development of our most valuable asset, our young people, with the objective of enabling them to become the sustainability leaders of tomorrow.
The year-long FSL program is designed to educate and empower university students and young professionals to become the next generation of sustainability leaders capable of carrying forward the sustainability agenda.

Offering participants hands-on experimental learning, self-paced studying of comprehensive content and networking opportunites; FSL equips them with key skills to succeed in the green jobs of the future in an ever more digitially advanced and complex world.
Selected nominees will have the opportunity to participate in Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW) 2024, the region’s largest sustainabilty gathering. At ADSW, participants can interact with the Y4S Sustainability Hub, a dedicated space to educate, empower and inspire youth, which attracts around 3,000 students over the course of the week and hosts high-level national and international delegates.

Included in the Hub is the Y4S Forum, a three-day youth-led program aimed at exploring ways for young people to play an active role in the implementation of the UAE national agenda and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Since the launch of Y4S in 2016, more than 739 members have graduated from its programs.

FSL participants must commit to the year-long program and comply with the following:
  • Be a UAE national or international student aged between 19 and 35
  • Hold an undergraduate degree, or be pursuing one, at an accredited institution (open to all majors)
  • Have excellent spoken English
  • Submit a statement demonstrating interest in sustainability-related fields
  • Complete the online application form before Tuesday , October 31, 2023.
Future Sustainability Leaders - Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Complete the Skillup Series online learning units
  • Attend all Virtual Series and events throughout the year (such as Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week etc.)
  • Participate in the Y4S Innovation Lab (through the Ecothon Innovation Challenge)
  • Promote FSL program through your social network (when applicable)
  • Coordinate, manage tasks and work under pressure
  • Have a positive attitude and be a ‘people person’
