Első alkalommal teljesített szakmai gyakorlati programot indiai hallgató az SZTE ÁJTK-n

2019 nyarán a Kar életében első ízben került sor indiai hallgató fogadására szakmai gyakorlat céljából. Egy hónapos tartózkodása alatt Toshit Godara, az ahmedabadi Nirma University hallgatója indiai-magyar alkotmánybírósági gyakorlat összehasonlítása témakörben végzett kutatást. A gyakorlat időtartama alatt számos kollégánkkal készített interjút, teremtett kapcsolatot civil szervezetek képviselőivel, kutatási eredményeit pedig hamarosan angol nyelvű jogi szakcikk formában fogja megjelentetni. Remélhetőleg a látogatás nyitányát képezi az egyetemeink közötti tartós együttműködésnek, amelynek során hallgatói és oktatói mobilitás, valamint további közös szakmai programok is megvalósításra kerülnek. REPORT

I had a great opportunity of doing my internship under International and Regional Studies Institute of the University of Szeged, Faculty of Law and Political Sciences under the supervision of Prof. Hars Andras for the time period of 15^th June to 15^th July. During the course of my internship I got an opportunity to interact with multiple esteemed professors of the University and complete my research on the Role of Apex Court in Safeguarding Constitution and Rights under Constitution: A Comparative Perspective of India and Hungary. As Constitutional Law Honours Student back in India it became an overwhelming experience for me to see the manifestation of Hungarian Constitution and the comparison with the Indian Constitution.

During my stay it was not only something that helped me in fulfilling my academic thirst but also gave me an opportunity to understand the culture of Hungary.

My interactions with the Professors of the University Dr. Anikó Szalai, Dr. Márton Sulyok, Dr. Judit Tóth ,Dr. Péter Mezei, Dr. Renáta Kálmán, Dr. Szilvia Váradi provided me with deep insights of constitutional Law of Hungary vis á vis international law. They also guided me in understanding the relation of the EU and Hungary.

I am very grateful to Professor Andras Hars who not only provided me this internship but guided me in my research project. My experience was further enriched by attending the Summer School on Minorities at Budapest, where I was able to be part of minority discussion across the globe. It was only through his guidance that I could understand the intricacies of the research that I was undertaking. I am also indebted to the help provided to me by Prof. Gizem Gültekin-Várkonyi during my research.
