NGS - Next-generation sequencing

The service is anticipated to launch in Q2 2025, with a continuously expanding portfolio.

While classical Sanger sequencing allows for the analysis of a single gene or a small genomic region in one sequencing reaction, next-generation sequencing (NGS) enables the simultaneous examination of hundreds or thousands of target regions, or even the entire genome. This approach allows us to construct a comprehensive genetic profile from a very small tissue or bodily fluid sample – one of the key reasons NGS has emerged as a cornerstone of molecular oncology diagnostics in recent years.

At our laboratory, we analyze monogenic, small, and medium-sized oncology gene panels, as well as perform whole exome and transcriptome sequencing. These efforts primarily support diagnostic applications but also contribute to basic and applied biomedical research, including clinical research related to drug development.
