Great news for our research group: the CLEVER (Consortium Linking Extracellular Vesicle Efforts in Research of Invasive Fungal Infections) multidisciplinary research program is launching with the support of the Novo Nordisk Foundation!

The project aims to uncover the mechanisms behind dangerous fungal infections (Candida, Cryptococcus, Aspergillus) by examining extracellular vesicles (EVs). Our goal is to create the world's first fungal EV atlas, which could lead to new diagnostic and therapeutic solutions in healthcare in the long term.
The project brings together an outstanding international consortium of local and international partners. The consortium is led by Prof. Attila Gácser (Host-Pathogen Interaction Center at the University of Szeged).
