Various microscopy supplies, such as TEM grids, silver paste, stage micrometer and different types of tweezers are to be quoted that meets or exceeds the following technical specifications (partial quotes can be accepted):

 

A) TEM grids:

A1) Amorphous carbon covered TEM grids:

Amorphous carbon film (typical thickness 5-6nm) covered Cu grids

Grid: square, 200 mesh

Outer diameter: 3.05 mm

Thickness: standard

Quantity: 100 pieces

 

A2) Lacey carbon TEM grids:

Cu grid coated with a carbon film of a broken pattern consisting of irregularly sized and shaped mesh-like openings.

Grid: square, 200 mesh

B) Conductive silver paste:

Fast drying at room temperature. (Dry to the touch in a few minutes.)

Acrylic resin based composition.

Thinning with acetone is a benefit.

At least 60% silver content.

Quantity: 1 bottle/25gramm

 

C) Stage micrometer:

Precise for routine calibration of light microscopes, which preferably works both for transmitted and reflected light.

General purpose design. (tracebility and certificate is not a must)

Horizontal scale (scale is along the longer side) 5mm in 0.05mm divisions.

Size: like a microscope slide, i.e. approx. 75 x 24 x 1mm

Robust construction is considered as a benefit.

Chemical resistance: Resistant to common laboratory liquids, such as strong acids, alkalis, or oils, greases, organic solvents.

Straight, flat tips of approx. 2mm width and 1 mm thickness for sufficient rigidity.

The Inviting Authority expects offers from suppliers that can guarantee a prompt delivery and have a stable financial background. Request for further information will be sent to each candidate with a valid offer. Following the submission deadline, the Inviting Authority evaluates the offers and candidates are informed on the result with the least possible delay.
