The Directorate of Finance and Engineering, University of Szeged (hereafter  Inviting Authority) invites candidates to an open procedure for supplying the following product:

 

Computer controlled amplifier system for 2 channel voltage-current clamp-juxtacellular neuronal recording combined with 2 channel LFP recording, stimulation and drug delivery for in-vivo acute experiments

Computer controlled amplifier system for 2 channel voltage-current clamp-juxtacellular neuronal recording combined with 2 channel LFP recording, stimulation and drug delivery for in-vivo acute experiments

 

I. Computer controlled switched mode single electrode extracellular/intracellular (voltage and current clamp mode) amplifier module for recordings with sharp microelectrodes or patch pipettes (two modules):


1. MODES OF OPERATION:

Extracellular voltage measurement

Extracellular single cell stimulation and electroporation (with CURRENT or with VOLTAGE)

Intracellular CURRENT clamp recording

Intracellular VOLTAGE clamp recording


2. HEADSTAGE for ANESTHETIZED HEAD-FIXED PREPARATION:

II. Computer controlled low pass 8-pole Bessel filter module with gain (two modules)

1 MOhm related to ground input capacitance: 30 pF


3. AC-COUPLING AT INPUT:
Corner frequency of 0.1 Hz


4. OUTPUT IMPEDANCE:
range: ±12 V into 1 kOhm / ±1 V into 50 Ohms


5. GAIN / FREQUENCY MONITOR:
1V / step

III. Computer controlled differential amplifier/filter module for small bio-electrical signals (two modules).

4. AC COUPLING AT INPUT:

V. Computer controlled pneumatic drug ejection module.


1. SOURCE GAS:

air, nitrogen, helium etc. no aggressive, combustible or explosive gases, filtered by a 5 μm filter element


2. PRESSURE RANGE:

input pressure: max. 5 bar (1 bar = 105 Pa)


3. PRESSURE CONTROL RANGE:

0-4 bar; display range 0-4 bar or 0-2 bar; display range 0-2.5 bar


4. INPUT AND OUTPUT COUPLINGS:

hose fitting connect type for 4 mm (inner diameter) tubing


5. STATUS / EJECT time indicator:

red/green LED

red light: valve is closed (in EXTERN TIMER, CONT. operation mode); green light: valve is open; Off (no light) valve is closed

VII. Computer controlled 8 channel digital acoustic monitor module.


1. AUDIO MODES:

PITCH / NOISE / THRESHOLD, selected with toggle switch with OFF position


2. INPUT:
BNC connector, impedance 100 kOhms, high-pass filtered in NOISE mode 


3. TRESHOLD:
RANGE and FINE control, ranges: 0.5V, 1V, 2V 


4. VOLTAGE RANGE:
±10 V


5. VOLUME CONTROL:
volume of the internal speaker, one-turn potentiometer 


6. LINE OUT:
3.5 mm stereo jack audio connector, 1 kOhm, 1 V max.


7. DIMENSIONS:

The Inviting Authority expects offers from suppliers that can guarantee a prompt delivery and have a stable financial background. The Inviting Authority reserves the right to request further information from candidates within 5 working days in writing . Request for further information will be sent  to each candidate with a valid offer. Following the submission deadline, the Inviting Authority evaluates the offers and candidates are informed on the result with the least possible delay.
