Polishing and AR coating of Nd: YAG laser rod for the Department of Optics and Quantumelectronics, University of Szeged
We enquire for the servicing/reconditioning/refurbishing of the rod of our Nd:YAG laser operating at its fundamental frequency of 1064 nm. The two end surfaces of the rod need to be polished and subsequently coated with an anti-reflection coating. Our minimum specifications are the followings:
Polishing:
Laser grade surface quality: 20-10
Surface flattness λ/10 @ 632.8 nm
Antireflection coating:
For single laser wavelength, also known as V-type AR coating
Wavelength: 1064 nm
Pulse duration: 30 ps
Angle of incidence: 0˚
Polarization: circular
Fluence: 0.25 J cm-2
Reflectivity: <0.25%
The properties of the rod is the following:
Laser brand and model: custom laser from Quantel (50mJ, 30ps, 10Hz) having a SF611-09 laser head
The laser rod is 9.5mm in diameter and 115mm mm in length.
Rod end configuration: 2 degree wedged
The rod NOT mounted in holders.
Place of delivery: In deputy’s own place.
