INFORMATIONS
Examination of the learning outcomes:
Attendance at lectures is mandatory.
Two tests are written during the semester. In the case of grades 5 (very good) and 4 (good), the grade of the colloquium is offered at the end of the semester. Grade 4 and grade 5 means 4 (good) final grade. Grade 5 and grade 5 means 5 (very good) final grade.
As a prerequisite for admission to the exam, the minimum grade of both tests should reach at least 60%.
One of the tests for the recommended grade can be corrected once with a thoroughly documented reason.
The Department will give a Student a chance to retake one failed MTO - I would like to specify: only one failed MTO can be retaken once.
In addition to the possibility to retake the one failed MTO for the recommended grade, the department agreed on retaking one MTO for admission to the final exam.
So this means:
1, If a student wants to get a 5 or a 4 as a recommended grade, but failed one MTO, the student can retake that one MTO once and gets the chance of the recommended grade (which means the student doesn't have to take the final exam anymore.)
However, please keep in mind, that at the end of the semester all students have to register for an exam-date, so that the recommended grade can be added into the Neptun system! Regarding this please check the Neptun notification I sent you.
2, if the student doesn't reach the grades 5 or 4, and also fails one MTO, he/she can retake this one MTO once and can register for the final exam.
Nobody can take the exam if either test does not reach 60%, even if the other test passes well and the total reaches 60%. (For example: 59% and 100% means 79.5% average is NOT accepted.)
Further requirement of the admission to the exam: no more than 20% certified absence in the classroom teaching.
The first and potentially repeated second exams will be written, where the condition of sufficient completion is the acquisition of 60% of the maximum points that can be obtained.
The grades are determined as follows:
0-59% unsatisfactory (1)
60-69% sufficient (2)
70-79% moderate (3)
80-89% good (4)
90-100% very good (5)
The third repeated exam and any further exams are oral.
The potential improvement of the examination (anybody wants better grades than the offered, for example 5 instead of 4) grade is only made orally.
The unsatisfactory semester mark can be corrected during the examination period in accordance with the examination regulations.
The basics of the exam: The teaching material dealt with in the lectures.
I would like to inform you that the final grades offered according to the results of the two successfully passed tests during the lecture period, if 4 or 5, will be entered as exam grades. That means that you will have to apply for an exam date regardless of the grade offered, Students who have received the offered final grade do not have to take the exam, their offered final grade will just be entered for that particular exam-date.
Furthermore, Students who are affected by the Anatomy Exam course will technically only be allowed by Neptun to apply for the Immunology exam-date if they have completed Anatomy. If, unfortunately, they cannot complete Anatomy, then the Immunology grade cannot be entered either. So in this case, unfortunately, you will have to take the Immunology course again. (please refer the Curriculum leads). We recommend trying to take Anatomy as soon as possible, so that you still find free exam-dates for Immunology.
