ICOSTEE 2026

We cordially invite you to the upcoming International Conference on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Economy which will be held on-site and organized by the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Szeged.

The main aims of the conference are to provide a platform for researchers, scientists, and professionals from both academia and industry to exchange knowledge, establish new connections, and contribute to identifying novel research focuses that address specific challenges or problems.

• 80 EUR / 32,000 HUF: Lecture/Poster presentation
• 40 EUR / 16,000 HUF: Lecture/Poster presentation by PhD students
• 20 EUR / 8,000 HUF: Visitor, accompanying person

About the Conference

The International Conference on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Economy will take place for the fourth time (following the years 2018, 2022 and 2024), on 29th of May 2026 in Szeged, organized by the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Szeged.

The ICOSTEE Conference brings together researchers, industry experts, and students to share the latest scientific results and innovative ideas. Our mission is to create a dynamic platform where science and industry meet — to discuss recent developments, explore emerging trends, and identify future directions in research and technology.

The conference features a wide range of thematic sections, including Artificial Intelligence and Automation, Economics, Emerging Energy Technologies, Environmental Sciences and Technology, Food Safety and Microbiology, Food Science and Technology, Machinery, Marketing and Management, and Measurement Techniques.

In today's rapidly changing world, the challenges of the 21st century require close cooperation between universities, research institutes, industry partners, policymakers, and NGOs. Complex global issues call for integrated, multidisciplinary, and sustainable solutions — and ICOSTEE aims to be a forum for shaping these solutions together.

We especially encourage the participation of the younger generation. Students and PhD candidates are invited to present their research results and fresh ideas alongside experienced scientists and professionals, contributing to an open exchange of knowledge and inspiration for the future.
