The aim of the workshop is to enable academic staff of the participating department/institute to:

• collaboratively redesign their courses within a two-hour session, using a visual, structured approach
• apply the ABC method to shift from passive content delivery towards a student-centred, active learning design
• strengthen professional collaboration through joint work
• acquire a time-efficient and practical approach to modernising their courses

Workshop Format

• Duration: 2 hours
• Location: Central Building of the University of Szeged or on-site at the faculty
• Structure: minimum 1 – maximum 4 tables, each with one team working on a single course
• Group size per table: minimum 3 – maximum 6 participants, including a mix of academic staff and (if required) students
• If a course is taught by a single instructor, it is recommended that 1–2 additional colleagues join the table as active contributors to the design/development process

Registration and Workshop Process

• Sending an email to patyi.zsofia@szte.hu
  • Indicating suitable time slots for the unit
  • Specifying the preferred location (central building or faculty)
  • Identifying a minimum of 1 and a maximum of 4 relevant courses
  • Providing course descriptions including intended learning outcomes
  • Submitting a list of participating colleagues and (if requested by the unit) students
• Finalising the date via a confirmation email
• Receiving a preparatory questionnaire tailored to the unit
• Returning the completed questionnaire, followed by workshop preparation
• Participation in the workshop (2 hours)
• Providing feedback on the workshop and the option for further consultation

Course descriptions and intended learning outcomes for the selected courses will be required for participation in the workshop
