Winter Workshop in Alcalá

WP2 had a Winter Workshop in Alcala de Henares January 22^nd-23^rd 2025.

The workshop allowed participatns to have a better look of opportunities for improvement. A clear example was the proposal of an introductory course for EUGLOH members to contextualize them and make them familiar with the terminology and focus of the alliance.

The workshop was a safe space where everybody’s ideas are important, they allowed us to reach to definitions and understand how different the concept of one term is seen among the 9 different partners. Participants established a common understanding of what inclusive pedagogy means in the EUGLOH context; Strategies for joint education that can lead to collaboration and staff mobility; Revising and reassessing goals and visions for 2025 and beyond.

Beyond that, student representatives were able to provide ideas and opinions that were considered and that will look forward to improvement for students that decide to get along with the alliance.

Definitions of inclusive pedagogy, understand why these physical meeting are important for creating a better environment among the WP2 members was reached and agreed upon. Members now have a common understanding of how they can improve EUGLOH and student/staff engagement.
